Well guys, I finally got my XPS Gen 2 today! 
It's awesome so far, but I do have one problem, perhaps someone can help me avoid a headache.
My DVD-RW drive will read most of my CDs and all of my DVDs just fine, but some of my older CD-ROMs just freeze up when they're being read. It seems to struggle for hours trying to read the CD, and never goes anywhere with it.
It isn't the CDs; I've tried them on my desktop and it reads them completely fine. I can't install some of my older games on it so I'd like some help. Couldn't find any firmware updates on Dell's site.
Any recommendations are most welcome, and I appreciate it much!
