why do my midi's and mp3's stumble?

Thread Starter
I have a 2.8ghz/512mb 5660 running WinXP pro w/sp2
I'm using Windows Media Player v.9.00.00.3008. When I play either midis, mp3's or wma's from my hard drive they will stumble during play. This also happens while running Cakewalk Express v.8.04.

Anyone have any ideas? Do you need more info?

What do you mean by stumble?

In any case proly a driver issue.
Try reinstalling the sound drivers.

BTW-Where did you scrounge up Cakewalk Express? I used to use that a looooong time ago.

Have you checked the liquor cabinet lately? These are very smart machines and as with anything, some of them may have social defects that lead to dependancies. Blurred vision, stumbling, erratic behavior, excessive power consumption are all warning signs that if they continue in combination with other behaviours and symptoms, should definitely be considered a potential problem.

There is a Sagers Anonymous group forming, or is that Sager Animeous? Well, do a search.
