T43 Battery vs T42 Battery

There's some discussion in the Sony thread that the Vaio S360 (Non-Sonoma model) gets SIGNIFICANTLY longer battery life than the Vaio S380 (this is the model based on the Sonoma platform)

Can anyone confirm that this is or is not the same case as with The T43 (Sonoma) versus the T42? With the same batteries?

Thanks!!

That seems to be the case regarding all Sanoma vs non Sanoma chip laptops.

IBM is claiming in their spec sheet 7.7hr batt life (with mediabay battery) for T42p, and they are also claiming 7.7hr batt life (with mediabay battery) for T43 (this is the NON T43p model)

T42p is NON sonoma
T43 IS sonoma

So either IBM is wrong/lying, or they've managed to squeeze more juice out of the batteries on the T43 model..

Can ANYONE here post a comparison of batt lifes? or at the very least their own Batt life for their T42p and/or their T43?

Thanks!
