Acer Aspire 1801WSMi (LX.A3905.052) =>original 'acer' setup with original 'acer' drivers.
x600-128MB

3dMark 05= 1269 points



3dMark2001SE= 11047 points



PCmark 04= 3758 points

And the x600-128
overclocked by 250-400=>285-505Mhz (safe)
gives 1534 with 3dmark05
and 12447 with 3dmark2001se

I installed the new omegadrivers and it gave me a little more power.
standard 250-400

3dmark05= 1281 points (12points more)
3dmark2001se= 11138 points (91points more)


overclocked
250-400=>290-505

3dmark05= 1550 points (16 points more)
3dmark2001se= 12743 points (296 points more)

have you had any problems with the notebook yet? I am looking forward to purchasing it.Does the notebook get very hot? HOw is the sound from the speakers?

No problems so far
The speakers are decent for a notebook
It doesn`t get really hot, but has noisy ventilators

According to the Acer website the busspeed should be 800 Mhz, but when i check with Aida or Cpu-z it's only 533 Mhz. Can someone explain this?

It`s 533mhz
800mhz is the busspeed of the +3Ghz versions

Hmmz, That's , but can't complain too much because i've got my 1801 as a replacement for my broken (4th time) 1711smi.
