9300 with dual external screens

Thread Starter
Anybody running dual external monitors with their 9300?

Hopefully a 1900x1200 (via DVI) and 1280x1024 (via VGA)?

I was thinking of going with dual full size screens and keyboard when at home. I'm wondering how I'd turn the notebook on. I guess I'd still have to leave it with the lid open off to the side.

Just tried it, can run DUAL External Monitors. (1702FP + 2005FPW)

Too bad I can't run Dual + Laptop

If you would like to close the lid and not effect the notebooks current state----right click on desktop & click properties----go to screensaver tab and click power----under the advanced tab change 'When I close the lid of my portable computer' to 'do nothing'.

woudnt that be bad for the LCD, cause of the heat coming throught the keyboard and the 2 small vents next to the keyboard?

It should be fine for the LCD, not much of the heat loss it through the keyboard and the side vents and rear vents don't point upwards so the hot air will have no more effect on the screen than it normally does
