will a fresh winXP install void the 21-day return policy ??

being a 1st-time dell user with the XPS2, and familiar with the fact that dell installs a whole lot of extra software on their computers, i feel the need to ask this.

if I open the included winXP CD from dell to perform a clean OS install, will it void the 21-day return policy of dell which says all software should be returned as is in the unopened state ??
