Man, me and my freind loved that man, we can qoute his whole cd "mitch all together". Its quite funny how saturday night we pulled him out and listened to him the whole night with a bunch of freinds, something i havent done in a while. Also how its weird that my girlfriend has gotten into him just now. Just sad.

Read the article:

Hedberg, who struggled with drugs and alcohol, died Wednesday in a hotel room in Livingston, N.J

"We don't know that for a fact," she said, but added, "it's not a secret Mitch used drugs. Whether that played a role in his death or not, we don't know."

Jokes about Hedberg's drug use were a staple of his act. He took a hiatus from performing for several months after a May 2003 arrest in Austin, Texas, for felony possession of heroin.

He may have been funny, but he was a f-ing druggie. Don't sugarcoat it. I don't respect people who choose to f up their lives. If you want to get all pissed at someone, get pissed at him for using drugs when he clearly knew he had a heart condition.

Just because he was drug addicted does not make his accomplishments any less. He deserves some respect for things he did do in his life.

I think it should be pointed out his choices killed him. Maybe someone else might make different choices. And you get 10 kicks in your arse for every one pat on the back. That is life.

He was an extremely good comedian, I will give him that. HIs comments about donuts and getting a receipt caught me off guard one night while I was drinking and I damn near pissed myself. I will miss his act.

But I'm also with Darth Beavis. I've got respect for him as a comedian, but I'm not impressed that he caused his own demise. Beavis is just more direct then I am about it. I'm sad to see him go for his stand up routine, but I'm even more saddened that another man died because he couldn't control just that aspect of his life. Alcohol and heroin are very powerful and not easy to kick, but he made the choice years ago to start on them and it killed him. It was his fault, I'm sorry there is no way around that.

411 how about this:

We all loved him and enjoyed his keen sense of humor. We are saddened he gave in to the Dark Side of drug abuse which stole his humor from our lives. We mourn for him family. It is sad to see a young life taken before its time, especially when the death is so senseless and is self-caused. Too many talents have been lost this way (Chris Farley, John Belushi, Sam Kinison, John Candy). Hopefully some good will come out of this untimely death in bringing the continuing high cost of drug abuse to light.
