I think it should work, the only thing that might happen is that certain BIOS settings are locked by the OEM; in which case the thing to do would be to manually reset the BIOS. K8M800 should work with with A64, since it's on many desktop mobos. Read this for your information:

The only other thing of concern would be the CPU voltage, and make sure that it would support 62W CPU, and the CPU voltage actually matches, which should be 1.4V for the 62W version, or 1.2 for the 35W.

how can i be sure about the support of 62 watts and 1.4v . Do i have to do something different than everest and cpu-z. And what about the chipset i have the K8M800 and not the K8N800 . And how can i reset the bios . the laptop will work after the reset. And something more . Do i have to use mobile athlon 2800+ or can i put 3200+ if the watt and the volt are the same.
