I recently got my 4060 with 3.06 with HT and I was wondering how you enable HT??? (I know its in the manual somewhere but I can't find it because I think I packed it with my other computer manuals somewhere...also I tried to search but "ht" is not long enough to be searched) also does enabling HT give you way better performance??? also is it true that HT does not work with dx9???

1) The enabling option should be in the BIOS.

2) It will not change performance at all, unless your running multiple programs. HyperThreading is a technology that lets teh P4 handle multiple threads more efficently. If your running just a game, it will do jack squat.

3) No, its not true. Where the hell did you hear that?

DX 8.1 is NOT DX9. DX9 is DX9. SOme poeple dont like the newest release of DX9 (DX9.0b), but in general its good.
