Apple GPod - Page 2

bobx, i'd appreciate if you didn't put words in my mouth.

we'd all appreciate it if you stoped posting here.

i am only trying to provide the other side of the story. also if you noticed i have been showing up here less than before. i could really take these arguements further, but then i remeber that there is no use, you're living in a bubble anyway.

well for both sides it seems the argument is an issue of preference. i have an MPIO 512MB player. it has not been flawless since i have gotten it, however by in large it has been a good product. the iriver was one of the runners up in my shopping. i passed on it bc it seemed a bit too bulky for my needs (working out). my MPIO has all of the specs u had mentioned abf, and it is just a bit thicker than the shuffle, so go figure. i like being able to swap out the AAA rechargeable battery, and to carry extras with, but then some don't. these preferences could go on forever, so if u care to flame each other do it over PM, and/or schedule a duel in your fps of choice at high noon k?

Telling the other side of the story is fine. Now, could you ever be able to do that in a discussion? You haven't been able to so far. All I've seen from you is rubbish-filled angst against a company. That's not telling the other side of a story. That is not communicating. That is just nonproductive blabber stewing from your "mouth." An axe to grind and hoping someone will listen. Truth is, no one cares about your posts and no one ever sees the merit you think you're producing.

Eh.. that GPOD might not be as much of a joke as you think... From what I have gathered.. The GPOD is going to be a new device from Apple. Don't know what yet, but it will be here.

yeh, they're looking for a graphics engineer aren't they.
Not too sure, I think it WASN'T an April Fools JOKE. It seems to be VERY REAL. We shall see... Hopefully it is REAL!!
Sure, it'll happen at some point in the future. But in this instance, it only refers to a joke.

That article is a joke, too.

They said they held / felt it and it was "sturdy", adnf the graphics are the same as the others (just CG). I'm sorry, but Apple doesn't release technology like that to the public, especially to a minor game organization (If Gamespy said it, that'd be different...).

Its a joke, and Apple is only adding another graphics engineer, if thats true, because Mac OS X is heavy on imaging / Open GL...which is what the person would do (Work on OpenGL support and that stuff). It is total bogus, and Apple wouldn't have any grounds to enter the portable games market...it wouldn't compliment anything.

If it was real, that'd be good, but its just a joke...if it was real anyways, half of these sites that had it would be sued right now. :P
