2.9kgs. It looks thicker in the photos than in real life though. Feels very tough

Haha, I thought about that as it looked dull in pictures. But in real life it looks nice.

Thankx for the pics.. sold my 5680, was leaning to the 3880 but a couple of thing disappointed me, mainly the big ass battery sticking up, and the ports on the side. Am seriously considerin buyin one of these asus in the next couple of days

Those pictures are incredibly, especially the one with the eye.
The screen looks really amazing.

Can you please post pictures with the sparkle effect, I wanna see that.

Those pictures are great! I am trying to sell my i710m at the moment to get one of these.

One thing I would do with the one you have (and likely the Powernote Z71v branded one I will be buying) is knock off/cover those logos with something better

Wow this thread is still alive. Well its been a year now with the Z71V and still looks great. And still keeping its price tag

No kidding. I was looking back, hoping that it would be sub-$1000, but nope. Some barebones are still going for $1000.
