HOW CAN one fix this??
i got no clue how

it works on my compaq laptop but ic an't get it to work on my

right click on the bluetooth icon and click on receive file, then send the file to the acer.. thats how i did it and it works

When you pair the phone 2 com ports where created: 1 for incoming and 1 for outcoming...check both if they're ok...

all the coms are listed there
but the outgoing come is listed as serial?

i just formatted my pc
today again, and stil cant' receive
and even if i put sp1.. i dont have any drivers for this usb to install it in sp1 because acer did not give us any

Acer ships with Widcomm driver. Unistall Widcomm and install SP2. The Microsoft BT driver are not bad. Widcomm only has some useless tools more than MS driver.

I know it might seem like a dumb thing to say; have you checked in the Bluetooth Exchange folder in My Documents. XP chucks files you send from a bluetooth device into here
