It doesn't matter. You can install/run 3DMark05 both before and after overcloking. It really doesn't matter.
However, you should install it/run at stock settings then after OC'ing run it againg and compare the results.

I have coolbits 2.0 and see no "Auto OC" setting, are you referring to "Auto Detect"? When I auto detect, my frequencies stay the same, am I doing something wrong?
