What other sager resellers (besides PCT)

Since I joined this Website this year, I have had a totally new exposure to DTR (Desktop Replacement) laptops from the fancy hunkydory NorthWest Falcon and Alienware, to the more sleek and sophisticated Sager. And I starting to think that Sager will be the way to go when i purchase my laptop some time next year.

But everwhere i look (on the Sager section of this forum), all I hear about is PC Torque (not trying to flame it so don't freak), so I was wondering is where are the other Sager resellers and why do many people chose PC Torque over these other Sager resellers??

Also where can I buy all the older Sager models like the 8970? Because when I checked on PC Torque, all they offer are:

Sager 9860
Sager 7620
Sager 4880
Sager 4750
Sager 4791
Sager 4381
Sager 3790

Can some plz help me out?

I bought mine from PowerNotebooks.com

The process went off without a hitch and the people were very nice. I don't know how many different Sagers they sell, but they definitely carry the 9860, 4750, and 4791.

The only model we do not sell is 4321, well cause we didn't like it. The 8790 I assume you are talking about was discontinued by Sager in Nov. 2004 shortly after the arrival of the 9860, ressellers still carring this model from Sager either didn't update their site or are selling used. You can check www.sagernotebook.com to see a current list of product that Sager is selling.

I bought my 8887 from Powernotebooks.com and then I upgraded it to an 8890. Powernotebooks.com are great, but PCT is better IMO, I got my 9860 from there. Also, PCT hosts these forums which provides us ALL with a great great service, knowledge base, and support center even if you're not purchasing from PCT. That shows how much they want their customers and the general public to be satisfied and to use their notebooks to the fullest.

HaXor,

Use the search function. ABout a year ago, I provided a very comprehensive list of resellers, both domestic and fireign, of Clevos based laptops. There are many. Just be sure to carefully ready the "Policy Pages" for each site as some have really bad policies and restocking fees.

And if you're looking for an 8790, you might want to check out the Sager Support section for the 8790s first and read around for awhile. Just a word of warning.

I compiled a list a few days ago of clevo resellers. It has comparative pricing and dealers in different countires. Here:

G-Omaha: I can;t find the thread you describe. I searched for all threads you started, and it wasn't among those. Could you provide a link?

Sager...

Hi,

I ordered mine (yesterday) from Sager themselves. Although they are slightly more expensive i like the sales people and the swiftness of the response to the many emails (yes, i am that type of customer who bombards companies with questions ).

Cheers

Nice link. I looked (not very hard) at my previous posts and those of Go-Omaha (My ALter Ego) and could not find it. Maybe it was someone elses and I just added to it. In any event - Good show.
