cause the computer to freeze.
I keep getting an error message from my video card saying that ati2dvag has encountered an infinite loop which freezes my computer. Is this a bad screen, video card, or maybe the inverter. Any help is appreciated.

not inverter or screen. It's either bad or corrupted drivers, or a bad video card.

Give the newest Omega drivers at Omegacorner.com a try. Make sure you click his two ads and support his work so he keeps making them for us!

I have noticed this as well when using the Gateway 7422 drivers on my M6805 with SP2. Screen freezes and mouse will not move. Upgrading to the Omega's solved the problem for me.

Whenever you ahve a major BSOD, I always like to restore from the disk. That way I know it is fresh.
