need repair information for Compaq R3000

im looking for a schmatic or just any information to fix a broken R3000

the laptop was dropped and the power DC plug broke inside of it, so i need the OEM part and repair stuff

or any tips on the repair would be appreciated..

ive worked on PC's for over 4 years, and this is my first time with a internal affair of a notebook....

HP will probably actually email you the service manual if you nicely ask them in an email. Or at least they did for me for my pavilion ze4610us

Did you try HP's site? I believe they have all the manuals available there. I haven't delved into my laptop, but on other forums I've seen where people have gotten the type of info you're looking for from the manuals available from HP/Compaq.
