I was playing Doom 3 ROE on my 7422 for 5 hours straight and it must have been running to hot cause I was starting to get artifacts and then it froze, luckily I had just saved the game. SO a reboot and some web surfing and I got another 4 hours out of the game then artifacts.
This didn't happen with HL2. I have Doom3 set at 800x600 w/all high settings and no AA. It looks decent and plays smooth. I am enjoying ROE more than Doom3 itself.
HL2 was set at 1280x800 and all high settings with no artifacts.
