Best Buy and Circuit City both have the s360 for $1449 this week (after rebates). I don't need it right away, but this seems like an awefully good deal. Is it likely to get much cheaper if I waited several months until the s380/other Sonoma notebooks are more widely available?
Also, I am pretty much set on the s360. I think it's the perfect combination of size/features/gaming performance/price/etc for me. However, are there any other notebooks under $1500 which I should give consideration to? The only other notebook I seriously considered was the Thinkpad T42. It's nice too, but I won't be doing extensive typing or subjecting my laptop to alot of rough usage/environments. So for my purposes (mostly internet and occasionally DVDs and games) the s360's smaller size, nicer widescreen, and better video card won out.
