Ordered the Sentia

I just ordered my Sentia!
I prefered the Sentia because I feel that the Area-51 7700 is too big for me having to travel at least twice a month. Too bad they stopped marketing the 5500 which will be more perfect for me because of its gaming ability. Now the waiting game starts!!!!

phase hell

Congrats on the new system, Don't stress on the phase game too much. I really got pushed out of shape when I was ten days into the order and stuck on phase 1, made through phase two through fourteen on the next five days. Then received ship notice from Alienware and Fed Ex. Its due on the seventh, so only three days left. They missed the ship date by one day, and in their defense stupid me changed my order twice during the process.
I will be posting a review soon, please do the same.

Gaming????

Gaming on a Sentia? Don't hope for too much Seriously though, The only weakness I can really see is the Integrated graphics card with 64meg of ram. Not really what you would want for say Doom3, I am told. For me I really need the portability of the machine and the long battery life. I Think that my sentia with the 1.8ghz Pentium M, 1 gig Ram, and the 60g 7200rpm Harddrive is plenty to play Spider Solitare
I was loaned one of the new Sentias by a friend at work for a weekend (nice Guy) to see if I really wanted one. He has quite a few action games that he states work great on his 1.6ghz model with 1 gig ram and the standard hard drive. The last real pc games I played were Doom and Wolfenstein 3d so you can tell I am out of the loop. Also my last notebook, an IBM T22 (Pentium III 900)with an eight meg video card was sufficent for my everyday use, I cannot imagine that the Intel Extreme graphics2 card would be any worse

I just couldn't resist playing the Doom 3 and World of Warcraft so I changed my order to an Area-51. It's just the size that don't appeal to me, I guess it's capabalities will make up for it.
