I hope it’s alright just to post a link to a notebook buyer’s guide. I wrote it because I’m tired of seeing my friends with laptops that don’t meet their needs or are just wrong for them.

The guide is written to tell people why they need what is recommended. It does not simply list specs one should get. I know there’s a lot of great help in these forums here, but I think this could still be a good read for many.
