Since it looks similar to Travelmate 8003, here's how it's done. Above keyboard you should see a removable cover. It might be screwed from the back (look on the back of laptop near the display base) so you'll need to unscrew it there first. Unfold display all the way so it's 180 degrees with the body of laptop. Then, using plastic screwdriver (try to avoid anything metal) you will need to start gently pulling up the cover by pushing screwdriver end under it above keys "Ins", "F8", "F3" - "F4" and pulling it up. It's basically held by plastic springy hinges. That's the most scary and confusing part of disassembling. You have to be careful but not too careful (Maybe someone else will explain this better).
After you removed it, you'll need to remove keyboard. Keyboard is held by three screws right above it's top (behind the cover you just removed) and by a couple of screws on the bottom of laptop (they are marked with letter "K").
Unscrew the ones at the bottom first, then the three above keyboard.
Then start lifting keyboard from the top while shifting it slightly towards back of laptop and tilt it towards front so that you don't pull out keyboard cable accidentally.
Under keyboard is the second DIMM slot.
Isn't that easy?
Don't screw back/assemble everything until you test that laptop recognizes new DIMM fine (just let keyboard lay in its place). That will save you frustration if you decide to switch DIMMs or try different combinations.
