Hi am the new forum noob and I have been looking around here for a while now and you all have some sweet rigs . There’s only one thing that’s bothering me and that’s the fact you can not get an ALX in the UK and I ‘m curious why this is?

I live in UK + I priced one up on US site + converted it into GPB and it came to like £7000, and realisticly nobody is gonna pay that much for a pc, if they can basically get an un-watercooled version for 4k less(Aurora 7500 SLI)

But I would like to know if there going to bring it out and when. as far as you working it out for £7000 what where you doing I just priced a one similar too the 7500 and it came out as £4,191, that’s less than the 7500 I priced which was £4,377 more or less the same.

Butch, we don't know if its coming out or not, but tbh I think there isn't really much point of selling an ALX in the UK.

O well, when I configured 1 with roughly the same specs as my 7500, it came to like £7000 so i dunno what went qrong down the line

why would this be?

The prices of the Alienware in the UK is already high enough. Alienware is still fairly unknown in the UK and high performance machine doesn't appeal to all. They already released the SLi machine, and there isn't much point for an ALX to come out.

I say its pointless because people who are looking to spend money can go for the SLi and people who want high specs can customize the 5500 range.

Also theres production problem too

Sorry if I seem negative to you butch, I'm guessing that you want an ALX...
I said theres problem with the production because I think that Alienware isn't big in the UK like in the US and the production (computers made in Ireland) won't hold the different type of computers. I believe that all the available European countries all go through the UK AW?
