Hey! Congrats on your purchase! These machines are awesome. Keep us posted on your progress, and we wouldn't mind you starting a thread of your own with your spec's.

Awesome, if one person got some real use out of it then the 3 hours it took to write were all worth it! Lol. Congrats on your stellar 7700, you made the right choice... Remember this, buying a 7700 is like taking the RED pill. Buying the XPS 2 is like taking the BLUE pill ...

UPDATE:

Just scored 4,062 3DMARK'S on 3DMARK05. This was done WITHOUT ANY OVERCLOCKING.

1024x768 Res
XP Visual effects set to performance (Big Help)
Auto Update service stopped (Not sure if this really even helps)
nVIDIA Forceware 76.50 (From Sager NP9860 driver downloads, HUGE help)
Classic Mode (Does help)

Its an accomplishment considering I was 3,705 out of the box. I'll take em' where I can =). As soon as the new OMEGA's are out, will be doing some tests and will post the results...

Not one problem after 2 weeks, I love my 7700 more and more as everyday goes by...

Codename...in your laptop cooler testing did you ever try a Vantec LPC-305? Just curious as that is one Im looking at. Its not as wide as the Kingwin, however, it does have rubber feet to keep your laptop from sliding off of the unit and seems to have gotten good reviews. Any words of wisdom???

I can't say on that one, I just know that so far the KINGWIN wins by far out of the 3 I have tested. Get it and test it and let us all know. If you wanna be safe, get the KINGWIN...
