Has anyone figured out how to get the finger point scanner to work with Firefox? It works with IE but not with Firefox for me for some reason. 3rd party software suggestions or any advice?

I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...

This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented. Overall A+++

This is good Ram and fast. I like it for my Clevo / Pro-Star WP150HNQ. Both thumbs up!

Fujitsu S7010D FingerPrint Scanner and Firefox
I'll try to expand here.
I can't login on any website using the fingerprint scanner.
In addition, once I do login (manually) I can't logout for some reason. Even on this website. Once I'm logged in, if I click logout it tells me that I logged out, then when I click to return back to forums I am still logged in. Seems like this computer in general is incompatible with FireFox.
If I close firefox and open it back up, it remembers me. In the firefox options menu I have the remember passwords set to off and it still remembers me.
IE works fine but I want to use Firefox with the scanner. Is there anyway to make them compatible?
BTW my version of FireFox is 1.0.2
