Shipping dates? - Page 4

Yeah, Sager shipped it to me direct via US registered mail. Too bad www.usps.com will only give you the ship date/location/time until it is delivered. Would like to know where it is now. they need to update their tracking system to match that of UPS.

now can you model a couple of scoops of ice cream and some chocolate sauce? Or maybe just deep-fry that sucker Elvis-style...

Payment for my shiny new 5680 cleared this morning! (6 days for the stupid paypal e-check) Now the real waiting begins. Build it, ship it, send it to Florida and then back to California...aarrrgh...is there no end?

And now, a little dance for the pixel gods...

I have a tracking number!!!!!!!

Dudes (and by dudes I mean both dudes and dudettes),

I just got my tracking number for my 5680! I ordered mine directly from Sager on the 17th and it the tracking number says it left on the afternoon of the 20th and will arrive at my home on the 24th! (Sorry PCTorque-didn't learn about you all until after buying it )
I am phsyc'ed. I am in Korea (with the Army) and am coming home on leave on the evening of the 25th. Hm...what a dilema...What do I unrap first, the wife I haven't seen in months or the Sager...lol...guess the Sager will have to wait until the morning of the 26th.

Oh yeah, least I forget, the nana's to the Pixel gods-

Zubby I think the clock starts when your check arives not when it clear's. At least that is what I believe Adam told me.

It's good to hear that SOMEONE is going home , even if it is for leave. I don't even get that! Although, when I go home I know I'm not coming back (at least for another six months! knock on wood! ) Hopefully I'll be CONUS before Valentine's Day, but no promises! (knock on wood again! )

If I'm not, will Laura send me a Valentine's Day card? /wink /wink

Must sacrifice bananas, must honor my God, bananas must perish for the glory of my LCD screen! here they are you Godly pixel hater!

unpilot: That would be cool, but I'm not sure how the whole paypal e-check works. I thought it was still an electronic transfer, but it took 6 days... Either way, it cleared, I'm happy...or at least content...ok ok, impatient...I want it NOW!
OBTW...how do these things handle drool on the keyboard? Are they waterproof? Does it come with a bib?





Must...do...something...diferent....(or else the gods will ignore you)

Zubby I just got a pm from Laura and she confirmed that they order your lappy when they get the check.

As for the banana's you must I am afraid...KILL them to appease the pixel god.

I thought my screen had flipped over and strangled itself.

Unpilot are you still waiting for your tracking number? I would have thought you would have got yours by now. My 8890 is STILL stuck in customs - I might just have to go postal down there, hunt down my shipping box and retrieve the poor thing.

You live in Canada? I didn't think anyone had to pay taxes... I ordered from California, which is where they ship from.... But Pctorque has them ship the laptops that go to California, to their store in Florida first so that Californians don't have to pay taxes.

It ads 3-4 days to the shipping, but saved me $240.00 so it's worth the wait.

Really is weird watching it go from California, to Texas, and now it's in South Carolina now? Then it has to go to Florida I guess? Then back to me... Hopefully the weather doesn't affect it to much... Going from 100 degree temp, to dry hot temp, to cold wet windy, to humid warm, back to hot?
