It will wear off sooner than you would hope. I work in a fairly small office so it only took a couple days for everyone to spend their 15 minutes with me asking a b'zillion questions. Even the FedEx guy has commented several times about it. 3 days in a row several people were in my office when he arrived and he had to hunt for someone to sign.

Need less to say I am the envy off the office right now. The next newest notebook is over a year and a half old. Other engineers are in awe over the 1920x1200 wuxga res. (Most of them are working at 1280x1024 or 1480x900 on notebooks) I can't use anything less than 1600x1200 for developing. And my XPS2 is my ticket to moble developing freedom. I am extreamly satisfied with Awe factor and screen size/resolution.
