Nominal readings with I8kfangui?

Wondering what people think should be 'normal' settings with the i8kfangui program.

Right now, in an idle state my XPS2 shows the following:

CPU Temp: 32
GPU Temp: 47
DIMM Tmp: 48

When gaming this they all pop up to as high as 60...have not seen anything higher than that. System cools down very fast after stopping my games... CPU back down to the low 30's within 1-2 minutes.

Would you all consider this acceptable?

Thanks for any input?

Which version of i8kfangui are you using? Unless it's the recently modified one floating around here your GPU temps are probably a good 8 degrees hotter than what you are showing...still ok though. You can verify with the temperature tab on the 6800 advanced settings tab if you've applied coolbits or upgraded drivers.

well, during games fangui reads my GPU getting to 63 tops... but if i run games in a window, and run the Nvidia temperature monitor, it reads a lot hoter.. look at this temp after 2 hours of CSS.

Are those fluros on the screen from the actual game, or are they reflections off the gloss of your WUXGA display ?
