New coupons out, $800 off

I've been lurking around for a while on this board gathering info on the 9300. Despite the mixed feelings here I took the plunge today anyway. I could always return it if dissatisfied.
If anyone's interested new coupons are out today, including another $800 off coupon, which I used. A $2180 computer for $1380! Hopefully I'll enjoy it!
Here's the link with the coupon codes: http://www.allonlinecoupons.com/st/dell/
And I also want to thank all other contributors to these forums, they've been a big help. Hopefully I'll be able to give back a bit in the future!

I was going to buy an inspirion 6000 last week but wanted to wait until this past monday. now even with the $800 coupon, the laptop runs $250 more now. Looks like i'm not getting a dell now.

New coupons come out every Thursday. You might want to wait for a while until you see the savings you want to see. I doubt with the $800 off coupon you could come even close to the Dell price though through the competitors out there. I would be interested in seeing what you are looking to buy now instead of Dell unless you simply aren't getting anything now.

Wait for another 35% off coupon. It's a better deal. I just saved over 900.00 on my 9300 with one.

9300 price is up.

I just tried to configure a 9300 and the base price is $200 more than it was a few days ago so even with the $800 off it is $200 more. It looks like Dell's prices are going up on this. Any thoughts?

The prices on some components have went up. Just to name a few: the WUXGA screens went up about $20-25. The 7200 RPM drives went up as well about $30. When you start adding $20-30 to common upgrade components, the price will end up being more in the end.

My price with $800 off worked out to about the same as when I configured it a few weeks ago. I never bought then due to the monitor issue. If I had upgraded it some more then the 35% would have been better, but at $2180 the $800 works a little better for me.

HEY....There are 30% off Coupons out right now. JZQP4VNHBGXW2P. I'm sure the 35% off are coming again soon. then again you cant use the 35% off unless you price your pc over $1499.

Too bad none of them work for XPS gen2, hopefully one will come out soon.

The $800 one doesn't work for the XPS2? Yeah, ok, it looks like part of the inspiron line but I guess it's not?

I was able to swing 39% off using the $800 off coupon, I suppose its just about how you want to configure your machine.

I think the big thing that helped wth that last batch of coupons was that it was 30 or 35% off of the already reduced prices and 10% off upgrades. From what i read yesterday, there was a glitch and dell wasn't supposed to allow the combination of promotions like that with coupons.

My intention was to get a new laptop before I go off on a trip for business on May 9th. But with just buying a house, I needed to keep costs down quite a bit. Now i'll be looking at EBAY again and maybe even a sale with rebates from a store (maybe an Acer from Microcenter). I was so sold on that i6000 I had configured too.

Yeah, I just priced out the i9300 I ordered a few days ago and it was 100$ cheaper. Called Dell and got a carrying case out of it. Debating on whether 50$ is worth me canceling my order and reordering.
