S360- Hard Drive Question

Thread Starter
I have a new S360, and the hard drive only registers 69GB, with 63GB available.

Is there a way to clear up some of that space? the hard drive should be 80GB, and I have heard rumors that following creation of the recovery backup CDs, additional space could be opened?

after you create the restore disk, reinstall the os with them using the option to not have the hidden partition that all the info is on.

I have already installed too much stuff/tweaked settings to re-install. Does anyone know if a partition program can remove the hidden partition, recover space WITHOUT effecting other programs/data, etc.

Thanks.

would this mean that you wouldn't be able to restore or create restore disks after the partition was deleted?

as long as you create the restore disk, you will fine

mine works fine without the partition, restore disk work fine

when you make the restore disks does it take a snapshot of your current system and software configuration?

Hmm perhaps Ghost would be a better bet. Create an image of the C drive and then Write the image back over the whole Hard drive.
