I just got my new Sager 4880v laptop today, ati x700 256mb ram, 2.1 centrino, 1gb ram, etc... everything works fine until I hooked it up to my 21" Samsung SyncMaster 213T LCD, on the laptop LCD everything looks fine but when I switch over to the samsung, the screen becomes EXTREMELY bright and text is blurry, 
I am using all original sager drivers(i also tried using it with and without samsung lcd drivers), I tried other resolutions, same issue(my 21" samsung native is 1600x1200), I tried omega drivers, same thing, I tried displaying on the laptop lcd and samsung lcd at same time still problem, I disable laptop lcd and display only on samsung still problem, WHAT COULD BE WRONG!?!? My samsung looks sharp, nice and fine on other computers. So it can't be the monitor.
The funny thing is everytime i start my computer an ATI messege window would pop up and tell me about displaying onto TVs, and then there is a checkbox at the bottom where, if check, "this window will reappear when window starts if it detects that I hooked up my laptop to a TV output using the s-video port", i left the box checked and everytime i start my computer this ati messege window would pop up, so it leads me to think that it is detecting the samsung lcd as a tv! but how can that be!
