Windows folder contents

In the Windows folder (C:\WINDOWS), there are a lot of folders that have odd names or suggest a non-permanent nature (eg, "Temp"). While it's a good idea to leave most of these alone, are there any that can be safely deleted? (Namely the $NtUninstall folders.)

these are windows update folders when you download update, also you will see a lot of kbxxxxxx files. I always delete both. if you look in add/remove you will see a lot of hot fix entries. I use a program easyclean 2.0 to remove them also.
