zv5045us screen-cleaning questions

Every time I tried to wipe off the monitor, it kept leaving smudges, even with a microfiber cloth. So I tried using a small bit of isopropryl rubbing alcohol, and I think it's worse than it was. Can anyone tell me how to effectively clean the screen on this thing?

I just use water(damp cloth) & a fine cloth to clean my monitor. Works all the time...

There have been a lot of posts regarding cleaning LCD screens. A quick search turned up these results..

I would not wipe my screen with any sort of chemical...though HP does recommend either using Windex or a comp monitor specific cleaner.

Thanks for the info. I searched too, but I felt like this might require a more specific answer, as I have the WXGA BrightScreen, and water and alcohol left less than desirable results on my notebook.
