thats another reason why am really thinkin of goin asus, i love the idea of a hotswap bay for another batt.. remind me of my 5680 (had duals in that) only difference is this laptop will last more then 40mins

It's actually a problem with Sandra, not with the Z71v. It's cleared up now.

hmmm thankx for the info, you r right though i only use 1 usb2.0 at the time... but its kinda odd that there is only 1 2.0 and 4 1.1s

Can you take some screen shots of Sandra for us? I wanna see this for myself (it just sounds so unbelievable )

No no... im glad you brought it up. It’s false advertising on ASUS's part. Either that diag. software is dead wrong, you have the wrong mobo, or ASUS officially is downgraded BIGTIME in my book... I mean… USB 1.1 is outdated by… HOW many years?
