CL56 Video Playback issue?

When I am watching a movie, either with media player or other, the video will slightly pause and then speed up. This doesn't affect the sound and only happens every few minutes. Anyone else experience this? Can anyone suggest a fix? I haven't updated any drives in the past six months or anything, so maybe somthing is available to update these. Thanks for your help.

Sounds like you have a software issue... have you tried using a diferent video player (other than windows media player) , codec , video file, or updating your video drivers?

My Compal 56 works fine playing videos ..

It does the same in all video players. I'll check on the ATI website and see what new ones they have. I think I still have the program that converts those video files into ones my laptop can use.

I updated to the newest Omega drivers and still have the same problem in multiple video players. Any one?

Do you have a lot of processes running in the background? Or perhaps scheduled tasks that are chewing up resources?
