I'm having some problems with going fullscreen in WMP. And then specificly widescreen DVD's on a widescreen (16:10) screen, in this case my Inspiron 8600.
With 4:3 DVD there are no problems, it goes fullscreen perfectly. But with a widescreen DVD (16:9) it keeps to the same area as with 4:3. It aint really fullscreen that way, I've got black bars all over the place.
I figered it might have something to do with the fact that the screen is 16:10 and not 16:9. So I switched to an 16:9 resolution, 1280x768 and then it does go fullscreen, and when I switch back to 1680x1050 it stays oke.
Though if I would stop the dvd and play a mp3 and then get back to the dvd it's all black bars again.
Normal widescreen video's play fine in widescreen, visualisations run at fullscreen. And WinDVD has no problems, but I want to play my dvds in WMP.
Anyone fimiliar with this problem?
