Yep, just bought the Audigy 2 ZS and the Audio Technica ATH-A500's right here in Japan from Osaka....and I gotta say I am really impressed. I was going to buy the Echo Indigo but I couldnt find it here in Japan. Also I was going to originally buy the Audio Technica ATH-AD500's (air) or the ATH-900/1000 but I found the ATH-500's to be the best bang for buck. I've been trying to stress out these headphones but I cant get it to crack 
. Also I am not having any problems with my Audigy 2 ZS. I'm not getting any "popping" or anything, which is weird because I expected that I would have to upgrade the drivers because everyone and their grandmother in this forum is complaining.
Anyway, the reason I bought this setup? Because the SPDIF connection in the Acer 8100 is CRAP, there is NO volume whatsoever and the built in speakers blow as well.
