I think the idea is that bandwidth-wise USB 2 isn't neccesary for USB audio, except for when the DVD-Audio becomes an issue (especially Windows Media 9 DVD audio). My hope is that it has low CPU utilization because if not I may just go with this unit from Phillips
that someone mentioned in another thread because it has barely any CPU usage and already supports USB2 without worry, not to mention it will be $99.95 without a rebate.
I'd be interested to see someone with an Audigy 2 NX run RightMark's 3D sound benchmark.
Then again, anything is better than Realtek AC97 at this point,
