yep, should work perfectly

Called Dell this morning and told them I forgot to order the bluetooth module when I ordered my 9300 and they sent me a free one as well!

I was on the phone with sales for about 10 minutes, trying to get the person to understand what an internal bluetooth card was... she kept trying to sell me external.

Finally, she told me to call tech support. I called them, and they said to call sales...

Finally I call sales with the Part # from above, and it's cool, it was under $30 shipped. In retrospect, I should have complained about the runaround and gotten free shipping or something ; )

Okay! I just ordered a Bluetooth module for my 9300 through Dell Parts for $13.95 + $8 UPS ground.

I called (800) 449-3355 ext 7269937

Get the Part # from the first page and give it to them.

What device are you talking about? Did you need a cable for the Bluetooth module?

Hmm. I just tried to order one from spare parts, but they're all out. They transferred me to Electronics and Accessories where they tried to charge me $59.99. I bounced back and forth, but couldn't convince them to connect me to Customer Service. I'll just have to wait until spare parts gets a new shipment, because they wouldn't let me order an out of stock item.

Whoever it was that accidentally got 70 of them, you should return them so I can order one...

you don't have to be transfered to customer care, you can just call them. customer care doesn't know if you were transfered or if you called them or the ass from a hole in the ground

Electronics and Accessories gave it to you for $13.95? My CSR wouldn't budge. Or spare parts really does have them in stock now?

I guess I'll give them another call tomorrow. I've already spent too much time on the phone with Dell today.

Well, I just did a "Dell Chat" and "Mark" told me the $13.95 is a bundle deal you have to buy a lappy to get that price ... which really doesn't make sense since it seems like many people have already gotten the price as a standalone part. But more over they certainly aren't charging $13.95 for bluetooth on new sales...

If I'd read this thread earlier I could have saved myself some cash. I payed $59.99 for mine

Yeah, I just ordered a 9300 through small business today, had to get the BT added on after reading the service manual and seeing that it existed in the first place. Emailed the rep who I bought the laptop through and he said $50. So I said fine, since I wanted the internal device and did not know about this thread. Surprisingly, the unit is already in Boxing stage. So maybe I will see it before the projected May 10th, just in time for the end of University finals.

I got a lower cpu (1.6) and paid the difference to get the 3yr mobility business warranty with accidental damage. I decided that was more useful since I carry my existing laptop (Acer TM4000, 1.4 P4-M Centrino) around all the time and am always concerned it will get damaged due to some freak accident.

You shouldn't need a cable. At least when I opened up mine, the cable was already sitting there, waiting for something to be plugged into it. I'm pretty sure it's just a USB extension. You can check if the cable there's by opening up the cover next to your battery, it's just one screw.

Just ordered mine for the $13.95 + FREE shipping. No hassles or issues. I did have to request the free shipping to get it though.

and this bluetooth card fits in both 9300 and xps2? Maybe I'll just order a second bluetooth and refuse delivery on the $59.99 one.

Hmm, the saga continues...

I talked to Home spare parts which said they didn't have any in stock. Then I called Small Business spare parts, who wanted to sell me the $59 part again (eventually offering it to me for $45). They said the $13.95 part will be out of stock for at least another week and there's no way they can match the price. I called Home again and they said it was out of stock and wanted to transfer me to Electronics & Accessories (for the $59 part again...). At that point I just hung up...

There must be some trick to this.

It's a joke, they ran me here and there too, finally I found someone who had it for 13 + shipping... I asked for free shipping and they said " What are you speaking about"
