So far I'm starting to build a mighty fine coaster collection with my new DVD burner. What I'm trying to do is make backup copies of AVI's. I've been able to do so with 3 discs, but the last 6 or 7 attempts were complete failures.
I keep getting a "data verification failed" pop up after each burn. I have no idea what is causing this.
When I look at the properties of the 4 gig file I recently tried to burn (log below) it shows up as a 10mb file on the disc while on the left side of the folder it says 4.0 gig. ???
Also, whenever I get done burning a disc and try to open it, my computer gets extremely sluggish.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Nero but that didn't do anything at all. I looked at all the settings and couldn't figure anything out that might need to be changed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below is a log example of a failed burn.
