that's what under a service tag "original config" tag...
For me both the build sheet and the orig config had different drives, the actual drive in the machine was completely different, I used "everest home edition" to find out the drive model and speed inside (and a screw driver!!)
Buggers sent me an 4200 one had to wait a while for a replacement 5400 one since it was listed on my order. They let me keep the original one.
Why do they design a fast laptop and hobble it with a slow drive? It angers me that some users dont even know they are getting a hit in performance for very little money saved to dell.
