M6N widescreen popularity

this may be a stupid question, but, how come no one (well, a small percentage) of the people owning the M6 have the M6BN(e) instead of the M6N(e)? Wxga vs Sxga+. I also personally think the M6Ne looks alot better than the widescreen (silver border).

anyways, since i don't see that many pics of the M6N(e) can you owners please post some?

For me, it comes down to resolution. While there is more physical real estate available on the 15.4" display, there is less usable space. This is because in the states, the 15.4" display is only available in the WXGA resolution of 1280x800 vs the higher res of the 15" display of 1400x1050.

Now, this may have changed quite a bit as I've found an online retailer here in the states that show they have the Asus M6Bne model available in a WXSGA+ resolution. I posted a thread about it not but more than a few minutes ago.

have a few pics of my m6ne here...went with it for the same reason athens laid out...resolution is much more important for usable space than actual size is...
