will this work on the xps2? is this $750 off in addition to the already discounted price (ie. the $400 instant savings)? will it also work with EPP?
As coupons go off on the original price and the disconted price is discarded.

Yes you can return it but it will take some time to get credited. You will have to buy another one tomorrow to get it.

i guess i'll have to let it settle with my intro 0% apr then? it'll be able to credit back next month without issue and will be maybe $30 that i'll get as credit on the account afterwards?

You will definatly get refunded. Just not timely. But either way, tomorrow you will have to purchase another one with available funds and then send the first one back and wait on Dell. So your gonna be the owner of 2 notebooks for awhile. I know it sucks, been there.

i was planning on buying a 700m late summer... but will these deals still be around? i also hear that a new model of the 700m will be out by then... is it worth buying now or waiting?

damn I wish we could get these deals in canada, oh well I guess I'll just have to be happy with free health care.

free vasectomies for anyone in the USA who can get me the 1/2 off deal, lol

Xarthan - Those pics are awesome. I was just trying to decide if I should go with the 700M or 6000 for my old lady since she wont stop talking about wanting her own lappy after my 9300 showed up. I looked at the first one and thought it was the 9300 and 700M. When I realized it was the 6000 and 7000M, I realized the 700M is a tiny SOB.

I'm still torn between the two. She doesn't need any stellar graphics performance so the XGA and internal card should be fine with the 6000. But that sexy 700M is very nice looking too. I'm trying to get this in around $1500 for maximum discount.

Let's see. Wait 6 months for a doctors appointment or 1/2 off a Dell lappy.

I would just get her the 6000 if she isn't going to be taking it everywhere.

I tried the i6000, here are the specs:
1.6 Ghz
WSXGA+
512 RAM
6 cell battery (how long is the battery life)
128 ATI x300
60 GB HDD
2200 intel Wireless

that comes out to $1642 and substract 750 = $892
