I'm sure it will last 3 years or more before the components break, but I wouldn't count on it being able to keep pace with top of the line technology three years from now. Well, that is dissappointing. I was under the impression that this lappy was MXM, now today I learned that it isn't. The slot is different. Why would a manufacturer do this? The MXM is smaller and standarization usually means cheaper to manufacture. Well, I hope that there is a way to upgrade the GPU in the future, but I'm not holding my breath.
I mostly only play CS:S and WoW, and in the next three years, this lappy will probably be good to go. If i burn out a GPU, at least I can get a replacement part from ASUS, even though it may be a PITA to get. (or is this a bad assumption?)
