Well, there you guys have it. In general, teh 5680 performs top of the line, with no problems. I feel comfortable running at any resolution, and can say that everything is smooth.

Another note, is that i saw no signs of any ghosting from the LCD. This is a major plus for any gamer.

I know the review is basic, and i appoligise. If there is anything you would like to se changed or added, please let me know.

I belive that was a BF hiccup. To be honest, i didnt even notice a lag point.

And pics shouldnt be a problem. What would you like to see?

Hey, great review! I too ordered a 5680 | 2.4 | 512 | 60/7200 | and it will be used as my primary development/programming comp, as well as web designing and of course... gaming!! I was wondering if you can check out Raven Shield ( or anyone else out there with a 5680). I want to use that in LAN games with friends, and looking to see if it'll be flawless about it.

Thanks again for the review!

Hey can anyone tell me what ghosting means?
ghosting is when a on-screen image moves and you see the image leaving "smear like" effect of its image. you can see this on LCD monitors, though there getting better.

its as if when the image moves it leaves a spirit of the image behind. the spirit then fades away.

That is a pretty good description, my Sager 8887v used to do this(although it was hardly noticeable at all), my 8890 does not show any sign of it.

Question:
I can't get 3DMark2001 SE to run on my 5680. It says I need DX 8.1 (I have 9.0b).... any suggestions?
Yeah you cant run 3D Mark 2001 on the DB8.1 systems...I dunno if there is a fix for this...

I usually run 3DM2K1 on 8 and then install 9 before running 3DM2K3...

Yes, there is a patch to get it to work on DX8.x+. Just look on the Futuremark download pages...
