You know I was paranoid with my screen on my 9300 about the sparkles and light leakage, then I looked at the 20 inch iMac's lcd and saw similar "sparkles." Another HP lcd has even worse light leakage, kinda like a picture frame that goes all the way around. But under normal circumstances, the user won't detect the flaws unless s/he intentionally is looking for them. I guess I got lucky with my screen.
