I was really hoping mine would ship on friday, especially sense another lucky person got theirs shipped on thursday, my 20th birth-day is the 18th, and it is possible I would have recieved it on my b-day if it had shipped on friday, oh well =( sitll probably gonna get earlier than my april 25-27 estimate, since its already been in boxing for 4 days.

What is the EPP discount as of today, 4/17?

Ordered mine on 4/12.
Shipped today 4/17!

well finally I am in transit to carrier, I was in boxing since the 12th and now its the 17th so 5 days in boxing.. sigh, atleast it will ship before my estimated 20th shipping date.

Mine just posted as being sent to UPS and they gave the date of the 18th (tomorrow). I ordered on the 12th (late afternoon).

Now it goes ground and then has to wait in Florida for a boat to go get it. Damn island life!

Probably 2 weeks before I actually clap eyes on it.

How does one qualify for these nice discounts? I paid over $2800 for my XPS because the only discount I could find was the default $400 off.

well, a couple hours after i posted I got a tracking number, I looked at my tracking number when i got my inspiron 8600, the date on the UPS label is september 13th and it arrived september 14th, I am hoping it will get here today (monday) especially since it is my 20th b-day it would be a nice treat to get my xps 2 on my b-day but i wont be dissapointed getting it tuesday, it would suprise me if it takes longer than that.

what did you told them?? remeber any extension?
They wanted me to create a new account with a different email, .. this is useless!... I've been on the phone with them for 50min! talked to 6 different people! even with the premier people! they CANT TIE my oder to my account! .. well that's what they say!

my XPS2 on the 13th sat "in production" until late Sunday, when it moved to Kitting, Build, and testing by this AM in boxing. Each one of my 4 9200s sat in testing for at least 24 hours. They sure are not testing these things long!

My order was placed on the 13th and is in the Build stage acording to the automated phone service and it just says production on the website the kitting stage is faded out. Do the different production stages get checked as they are done?

I guess I got the LG screen?

This is probably ok I think I have seen the "sparkle" effect before and it didnt bother me I think i would rather have less light leakage/better colors. Also looks like I got the 5400 RPM drive

Re-Order

I re-ordered my XPS2 with the 33% + 12% EPP discount on April 11th.
It has shipped on April 16th.

I expect to get it tomorrow....according to UPS tracking.

Got my RMA for my first XPS, will be shipping that back to them tomorrow as well.

Well worth the hassle though, I saved about $1000 on the "exchange".

My XPS Gen2 shippied today, ordered it on April 12th.
