I have this memory installed in my Inspiron 14R. 6gb (one 2gb & one 4gb). Great performance! I highly recommend Kingston.
Anyway, yesterday I downloaded the the drivers off the new web page, made a ghost backup and installed. The blotchiness was there when it first rebooted, but then when I turned it to 32bit color it *mostly* went away. Its there if you look really really closley, but I rather have all the nice xtra features. Now we can officially close this thread
