How good is acer notebook warranty in US

I sent in my laptop (Ferrari 3200) which utterly failed. (It wouldn't even boot up) . I called acer customer support and they picked it up on mon. I've been reading up on some of the forums about acer support and I'm afraid I may never see my laptop again T_T. Did ne one go through acer notebook warranty? Can you give me some feedback?

I had a problem with the keyboard lettering rubbing off. Support answered the phone within a very few minutes, immediately authorized a new keyboard, gave me a choice of sending it in or having them mail me the part, and the new keyboard arrived (without any hint of instructions! But there were instructions on the web site) in something like 36 hours by FedEx. So it was a good experience. But I haven't sent anything in, so can't comment on that angle.

Don't sweat it. I have had my 4502 for about two months. When I first got it it wouldn't boot after four days. I called Acer support on Monday. They had Fedex pick it up 30 minutes later. Shipped it half way across the country, replaced a bad hard drive, and had it back to me Friday morning. Works great. Service was great. They even called before replacing the hard drive to see if I had any data that needed recovering before they replaced the drive. They reinstalled the operating system with the latest service pack. Outstanding service.
