Now I've heard that they've cancelled any plans to release a Turion Travelmate in the US. Sorry to report that, and I hope I'm wrong.
Secondly, don't feel like you have to settle for the 8104. It's an amazing machine, I can guarantee you with that. I've owned a few laptops over the years and I've NEVER been as happy as I am with this. Besides, every report I've read comparing the Turion to the Sonoma reveals that the Turion just doesn't cut it. Not what I expected, but when the Inquirer, who are pretty much self-proclaimed AMD fanboys, say it doesn't measure up then you know something's wrong.

. I'm still crossing my fingers for a notebook with near identical specs to the 8104 albeit with a Turion however, though the prospects of that happening soon seem to be doubtful.
