Good News 4/2 Orders!!!

HOLY S.,

It SHIPPED TODAY!!!!!!
I received the delay email yesterday (delay shiping till 4/20), but I just checked my status and they already shipped it! Expected delivery is 19th -21th!!

I was just about to call them too...

Status:On Schedule, 4/14/2005 10:36:00 AM
Carrier:UNITED PARCEL SERVICE
Delivery Estimate:April 19 - April 21

What a good way to start my day!!!

(Spaz what is your situation??)

..I know there were a number of us who have received delayed shipping dates. What is the situation for all of you??

I also gto the delay email yesterday (ordered 4/2-delayed till 4/20) and just called the automated phone number and was told mine shipped 4/14.

I wish i would have had the rep upgrade me to next day air yesterday.

I did. Says the same thing. The phone doesnt even give me an ESD anymore. And the website's date was yesterday. Called dell, they said, your system has to be tested, then boxed. I pointed out that my system had already been built once then went to boxing then back to build. Funny, thats when I got disconnected.

I swear to god Im never going to order another Dell again. I just paid off and killed my DPA account.

Hahaha yes! I did good. Got Free Overnight shipping for my complaint and now I get it Friday. Awesome day!

Dont get me wrong im happy for you guys getting your systems finally. Im just curious what the hell is up with mine. Dell has had my money for almost 2 weeks now.

Ordered 4/4 or 4/5 (I had a credit card issue which made it 4/5)... but its shipped..

I think if you made some changes to the order or that may have delayed it.

Or some wierd component that was out of stock..

Or someone component that wierded out your testing..

Or someone dropped ur box & broke it after it was almost out.. or stole it..

Or.. plain bad luck.. time to visit the psychic

tell that 2 Spazilton or any of the others who have been delayed.......

mine was suppsed to be on its way from malaysia or whatever then they hit me with this email......

No changes made.

No wierd components (Upgrades off base spec included. 1.73Ghz, WUXGA+, Combo Drive, 60GB 5400rpm, and Intel 2915 wireless.)

as for something weirded out in testing ...i dont see how since it suposedly made it past that spot on to boxing......

Im leaning twoards it was broken or dropped before it left. Becaue it went to boxing, back to testing, then back to build.

mine never did any of that...mine went from pre and jumped all the weay to boxing and stayed there for 4/5 days and BAM! delayed......and i chatted with the order status guy named "robbie"....and all he did was put my order into priority status

In other words from what I have found out. He just told you what you wanted to hear so he can keep his call quota.
